Travelling Exhibition
Anne Frank + You presents contemporary issues, including racism in football, the right to wear religious symbols, bullying and the plight of child soldiers, achieved through interviews with British teenagers and photographic documentary evidence.
After viewing the contemporary panels, the visitor will follow the life story of Anne, and experience a presentation of the Holocaust and other more recent genocides. The exhibition’s dramatic core will offer all visitors the opportunity to enter a virtually life size replica of Anne’s room in the Secret Annexe, this is displayed on Leonardo 3000’s interactive kiosk. Visitors will also have the chance to sign up to the Anne Frank Declaration on an additional Leonardo kiosk which will collect visitor details and then print out their signed declaration.
The exhibition and the accompanying educational materials address social problems including racism, prejudice and anti-social behaviour. They present visitors, particularly young people, with questions about themselves, how they see others and how they deal with situations of conflict.
With this new exhibition, travelling around a variety of UK destinations, The Anne Frank Trust UK aims to become a leading force for social change in the UK.
