Handheld Guides
To complement our service, the same data we use for the kiosks, can also be used for Interactive Handheld Guides which are standard PDA's (Personal Digital Assistant).
Once we compile the data and create the event directory, three different options are available:
- Visitors can download the guide from the website to their PDA's before the event
- Visitors can download the guide from a number of hot-spots at the venue to their PDA's during the event
- An agreed number of PDA's will be made available to the organisers at the event. These PDA's can be handed to VIP visitors
These Handheld Guides will be used by visitors as their personal companion and event planner. This also serves to introduce visitors to the event before they arrive.
Using a simple touch-screen interface our guides enable the visitor to:
- Search for exhibitors by name and speciality
- View text, audio or video profile of an exhibitor
- Search for events and seminars taking place during the show
- Create a list of exhibitors and events they want to see
- Use our navigator tool to find locations of exhibitors or events
- Make notes throughout the show and forward to their email address
As with the kiosks, the handheld guides provide organisers with additional marketing and sponsorship opportunities while introducing an innovative and helpful tool to their visitors.
